Easter

This year for Easter we kept it very simple. Even though Eli probably would have loved eating tons of chocolate and running around with a bunch of other kids trying to snatch up Easter eggs at the park he probably wouldn't remember any of it. So instead we hide a few eggs filled with apple cinnamon Gerber Puffs around the house and let Eli try to find them. He found two of them and was happy to carry them around for a while. He also loved that there were treats inside.

After finding the Easter eggs we went to Church and sang hymns about our Savior Jesus Christ. It was very uplifting and it was a great opportunity to remember His sacrifice for each of us. After church I attempted to get some pictures of the little guy in his adorable Easter tie. This is the best I got. (Please ignore the goose egg on Eli's forehead. He got it on his way home from church when he was running around outside)

Handsome ties! It always seems they knock their noggins just in time for pictures. :)
