This year we thought he might like to join in the fun and enjoy playing with the slimy pumpkin guts. But boy were we wrong. He wanted nothing to do with them. Each time we tried to get him to touch them or even look at them he would start screaming and try to get away. What little kid doesn't like to play with slimy, squishy pumpkin guts?
He enjoyed it a little more when he got to sit on Daddy's lap and watch him carve funny faces.
But after a while we decided to make our own funny faces :)

Maybe next year he will get over his fear of pumpkin guts. At least I know he'll enjoy Trick-or-Treating this year because he can actually eat the candy :)

How fun! And funny that Eli hated the pumpkin guts. That is actually my favorite part of pumpkin carving. lol. Your pumpkins turned out great!
